Kellie began her career in Grand Island, NE where she studied with the Royal Academy of Dance under Karen Jamleson.

She went on to receive a BFA in dance from UNL where she performed in dance concerts, musicals, and operas. After graduating, Kellie moved to Seattle, WA where she continued to dance and teach.

While in Seattle, Kellie had the opportunity to take classes from choreographers such as Mandy Moore, Mia Michaels, Cris Judd, and Tyce Diorio along with performing with Ruth Davidson Hahn, formerly of the Mark Morris Dance Co., at Jacob’s Pillow, MA.

Kellie has found a home at MLDC where she can teach and create. She is proud to a part of the MLDC competition team and company and to work with such amazing students and families.

Katelyn started taking dance at the age of three and grew up taking ballet, tap and jazz.

In high school she was active in theatre, performing in musicals like Highschool Musical On
