Biography of Christina Rossetti

Christina Rossetti was an English poet and artist of Italian descent.

Born in 1830, she was the youngest of four children of Italian poet and immigrant, Gabriele Rossetti. Her brother, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, was also a poet and artist.

Influenced by her talented older siblings, Rossetti began writing poetry at the age of twelve.
